Last week one of those popped up at ebay and since youtube has no video search results and google video only a blues wanking demo i thought it would be nice to give this kinda white whale pedal a testride. I am super happy that i did cause its a pretty wild and unique fuzz and i am pretty speechless that its so much under the radar...

Built quality is epic, some kind of wine red sparkle bla bla...
The Knobs have a very nice range with sweet spots at either end.

The drive knob goes from low gain (appears to have a 50% mix with the original signal coming through) up to super harsh distortion and ending in an ugly oscillation which can be manipulated with the volume pot (see end of the demo)

Entropy appears to be a mix knob that dials in either envelope style frequency sweep or octave up effects depending on how you have set the dimension and hair sliders

...and here is as always the demo:

Sweet demo. I really liked the more subtle settings, but the extreme stuff was cool too. I'm a total sucker for wedge shaped enclosures..

Sigh--I've been searching for one for so long. So good to hear what you can wring out of it, though. Thanks!

Search no more. If all goes well, the Chaos AND Helium will be available by the end of November! Keep your eyes on Malekko...

Never heard of Wolftone pedals before, but this one sounds rad to me  how much they go for MrWolftone?

MOJO big ass enclosure, too. Not actually a good selling point in my book with a crammed pedalboard BUT I know there's a good deal of fuzz heads mad for fuzzy big asses.

I'm not sure what the price will be, so I don't want to make a guess. Also, the new ones will be in smaller, more "normal", boxes.

Loving the sound of these masterpieces coming to market again--my Helium is so controllable from squeaky clean laser octave-up to crushed ring mod weirdways. And I've always wanted the Chaos even more. Any idea of whether the new versions run at (up to) 18 volts as originally envisioned?

That's MRS. Wolftone. ;) I'm married to Mr. Wolftone who designs the pedals, but isn't online very often.
I don't know the exact price of each pedal, but they will be under $200.

Picked up the Malekko Chaos and it is a noise machine. Paired with the Misty Cave, some delay, and unreasonable amounts of spring reverb, it is delightful. Suprised it is not mentioned more here. But it appears some people in this thread may not like Malekko. What did they do? Are they the Prymaxe of pedal builders?

Thanks.
