Caps for OneSpot, etc.

I've got a couple of onespots and other power supplies with daisy chains connecting my pedals. Some of the chains have empty plugs and I worry about them shorting out on unfinished pedal enclosures. Does anyone know of a good way to cover those unused plugs?

auto supply stores sell little rubber slip on caps used for closing off carb ports etc...also, the hardware store sells them, they are usually located in the plumbing section.

i cut pieces of outer insulation from a segment of audio cable. the end of the jacket segment should be longer than the plug length to keep the end of the plug from making contact. the caps are nicer, though, and since they're colored are easier to see under a board/in the dark; the sealed ends also keep moisture out. Godlyke sells them by the pack as an accessory as well.

So do I. It's cheap and easy to get on and off. And I had some laying around so I didn't have to go anywhere.

I just have the caps that came with my onespot, haha. You could use heat shrink if you have any.

Exactly what I use on my 67 Plymouth's carb! I would use 'em to cap power supply plugs too.

Same here!
Good info here though, I've wondered where to pick up some caps in the past.

Same here... but now I had to purchase a PP2+.

The setup with the dasychain was causing too much noise problem.
