..Is anyone else making stuff like this? I feel like there should be more, even if it's just DIYing a little box with an XLR plug to slide vox into your pedal chain. And then wash it out with tons of reverb?
Ehhhh?

http://www.tc-helicon.com/products/You can also get a 1/4" x XLR adapter and plug a mic into anything with a 1/4" input.

I have a digitech VX400 that I won on eBay for $75. I suck at singing and I pretty much use it for diretly recording lofi type of vocals with a four track But you can also use it in a pedal chain but it's big and sucks tone (which I love for my voice not so much my guitar).

I've got a crappy mic with a 1/4" jack and I put that through my pedals a lot, it sounds awesome. That voice box video makes me really want one though.

Whirr uses a Holy Grail and a Radial DI box. I think I might adopt that practice when I can next afford it, because a real-deal vocal processor ain't in the cards for me financially. Sorry for going against the thread title

Love that video. My vocalist usually just plugs his mic into a Boss DD-3 to get a little echo. I'd really be interested in a pedal with XLR input though. I don't know how practical it would be, but I'd buy it for style.
