BOSS FZ2 Boost mode

I was shocked to find that he boost on this pedal is one of the coolest features. It is so crystal clear and can be dirty if you want it to be. I like it more than my SHO. What kind of cicuit do you guys think this is?

I saw someone selling the FZ2 this week, he didn't like fuzz, he only liked using it as a boost
