Whenever I'm not playing or even if there is no guitar plugged into the signal my ECT unleashes a loud screech when the toneblast is engaged and its a dull hiss without the toneblast. It's extremely loud and it doesn't seem normal, anyone else have this problem? Maybe it's just feedback but none of the other high gain fuzzes I've played screech like this

i had one and though it is capable of some crazy noises, it shoudn't do what you describe. you could perhaps do a clip of what it does and see (hear)!!

Yeah definitely doesn't sound like a normal operating thunder. Video!

I took a video with my phone, so it's a little quiet. I start with toneblast off, it's buzzing, the buzz gets louder with the toneblast obviously. Then I unplug my guitar from the signal and it screeches, same would happen if I turned the volume down. Careful with the volume, the screech is loud.

Totally normal amount of hiss, but I've never heard the BEEEEEEEEP noise before.
You can send 'er in for diagnostics if you want.
