Unintentionally Funny Music

I was just thinking...I can't be the only one who has noticed that there are alot of songs with lyrics/vocal performances that are meant to be serious but come across as unintentionally hilarious?
One example that always cracks me up is the end of "Dude Looks like a Lady!" by Aerosmith...the part where Steven Tyler goes "Yow! Yow! Yow! Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-Yow!"
The really jittery, stuttered yelp at the end always makes me just about die laughing
Anybody else know of any?

See, stroke victims can still find success as singers!
Diamanda Galas is less grating.

I dunno...sometimes I think she's trying to be funny.

It's mostly just the hilarious faces she makes, right?

Just about anything that Eddie Vedder throws in to a pearl jam song to remind you that he's there.

It can sound great if done well, but oh is it tricky

Believe me, I know...
Why do I feel like I'm the only singer here?

Haha..well, good for you!
I actually think my vocal training made it harder for me to do the screamy stuff...or maybe my voice is just too high....
(I'm afraid if I tried, it would end up sounding all Psyklon-9-ish....minus the weird digital-sounding flanger

)

The singer in my band is like that, she learned proper and so for the longest time sounding hard was a problem, not that we do more then two or three songs where she actually want's/needs to and it's only a line here of there anyway.
I can sing [sort of], but I go for years at a time not doing so, so my voice is never in go practice

Exactly. Where do you think Adam Sandler got that one goofy voice?
I always think about 70's songs as if they're just talking about straight fucking(cause usually they are) and I mean lighter, pop/oldies tunes. My favorite is "It don't Come Easy" by Ringo Starr.
but this "love" of mine
keeps growing all the time,
and you know it don't come easy.

i'll tell you, "The Star-Spangled Banner" is one of the most difficult songs to sing that i've ever sung or heard, and i've been singing since my mother drafted me into the church choir at age 5. the range from lowest note to highest note is farther than the range of the typical human voice regardless of range, so one typically has to start so low that you're croaking "o-oh SAY..." if you want to have any hope of hitting the high notes. when i watch sporting events i always cringe when the singer heads for "...the rocket's red glare..." because i know that 8 of 10 times it's going to hurt.
