Something like this...

From a guitar....
right now I've got Boss Comp -> pearl Octaver -> custom Fuzz Factory with 3 band EQ -> Boss Bass Overdrive

and I'm wondering if anyone can make any suggestions?

I'm currently curious to try....
Baritone Guitars, Dwarfcraft devices (ECT, Robot Devil), Electro Harmonix HOG, Zvex Machine, Way Huge Swollen Pickle, Gnomeratron VTF.

I like footswitches.

I'm really sorry but I'm going to have to be evil... Boss OC-2 > moog freqbox can get really close to that type of thing.

The Pearl Octaver (assuming that's the OC-7) should be able to take the place of the OC-2 No Problems.

If anything this thread is just making it harder. I think the Freqbox route is out, because, well I'm poor.

I'm not a massive fan of the Subdecay Octasynth, but it might just be that video, too much squelch.

You guys seem to be leaning more towards synthy sounds than I was thinking maybe, I'm looking for something more like a big nasty raw fuzz, hopefully with a second footswitch for the synthy wild sounds maybe.

Or maybe look at the B/S/T section you could find some great fuzz for cheap.

Or maybe a WMD Geiger Counter, but those are more expensive.

So I keep coming back to the Dwarfcraft Robot Devil, anyone a fan? I think it might be the route I take, the Dwarfcraft video sounds great.
