I'm ordering a op amp Muff kit from Mammoth and I want to put a tone bypass switch on it.
What kindof toggle switch do I get for this?
Sorry this is probably a stupid question but it's gonna be my first build.

DPDT submini toggle switch on/off. Should have 6 lugs.

I trust you judgement on the toggle switches since I just saw your "tri tone" fuzz. That looks awesome!
How do you put those letters on there like that? Do you use stamps or something? Where do you get stamps like that? I really like that look.
Also I couldn't find any toggles like that at mammoth. I think I'll just run over to radioshack for one.

I did a light coat of white spray paint on a unfinished enclosure and bought letter stamps and ink at Hobby Lobby then just stamped the letters on and put some clear coat over it.

Ahh. I was gonna ask if you have to put a clear coat over it.
I'm pretty good at screenprinting. Next semester I plan on taking another screenprinting class so I can print on some enclosures. Do you have to spray clear over that too? I reeeeally suck at spraying stuff.

Ya, otherwise the ink wipes off. I'm guessing you wouldn't have to spray clear coat over it because its a more permanent ink and is meant to be used in fashions such as this, whereas an ink pad is meant for paper.

nazdar ada epoxy ink is the only ink you should be using on pedals. if you do, you dont require clear coat. you have to wait 30min for it to start setting before you use it. it is a 2 part A+B epoxy
