Your Diagnosis?

Hey dudes, so heres the deal, my custom Paisley Tubby Green Muff Clone has been my main fuzz for quite some, but recently it has been giving me some trouble. The sustain pot has been cutting out, but comes back in if I hit it lightly, also the bypass switch has been acting dodgy, like there is a momentary drop out in the sound, but only occasionally. I carcked it open and took it all apart, covered up the pot with electrical tape, I fired it up once tonight, and it seemed to do the trick, but I will see how it works the next couple of times. If you guys could help me figure out what is happening/happened. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'd just replace the footswitch and the faulty pot, and be done with it.

First: Battery snap. Is there one, and where is it? I've seen it a couple of times where the battery snap was touching the foot switch or other bit of the circuit.
The pot probably has a loose connection, or its kinda dirty. If you can't find anything wrong, just replace it. But pots usually slowly get worse, instead of failing outright.
Footswitches can stick. It just happens. And when it does, all you can do is get a new one.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a few more trials, and I'll report back if anything comes up. If anything does come up again, who out there would be willing to fix for me?
