...too bad the price tag went over the 2000.00 USD (plus shipping, VAT and all ), but... I couldn't really afford even the average used Ric price unless I sold my neighbors car perhaps (now that's an idea). This baby just wanted me to be irresponsible.

The binding looks like a fake. the finish is cool but I think they fucked up a beautiful instrument and there is no way its worth $2500...to me at least

Besides they have discontinued the 8 string basses, too, before they even made it to wider production. THAT'S a fucking shame shame shame Rickenbacker pup sounds are MADE for eight strings.

Really for me the blue ones are the shit! And I like them in blue BEFORE FLCL! But now due to FLCL the fucking things are a G more then all the other colors Still Bug is sexy too

And yeah always wanted to try a 8 string one.

I'm always drooling after the old ones with black parts on old maple finish. Like the one with Iron Cross that Lemmy used. I never liked how they were changed that to the opposite flavor.

If more people bought, ordered them in white then... Personally I'm not a fan of them in white, or burst, inless it's blueburst which transcends all.

They stopped doing them with black adornments in the early 90's.
