Here's an art shot. Review to follow at some point this weekend. It was waiting for me in the driveway when I got home from work!

That's not a paint chip on the bottom. It's pollen or something from the plants.

To me it kind of sounds like a more flexible DBA Fuzz War, it can nail FW tones and a lot more

I agree, seems to cover some of those nasty, heavy Fuzz War tones. I'll have one next week to try out. I'll try it get it out to you some time in the near future for a review.

It was easy to dial in a crisp fuzz too without losing the low end. The mid knob is a good addition.
I keep opening this thread just to look at my art shots. I did good in my drunken stuper. hahahaa.

Dude's a huge Sci-Fi fan.
If you take the B A T from Black Arts Toneworks and add LSTR you get.
BATLSTR as in Battlestar Galatica.
He has the same thing on the vanity plates of his Pontiac Sunfire.

Received a LSTR a few days back and had some time to dig in.
Definitely packs more gain than the Pharaoh and can easily nail traditional muff tones but with the trademark B.A.T. fatness/hugeness. You can use the scoop and tone controls to set it pretty wide open for Pharaoh(ish) tones, though not as "dark" in character, along with a bunch of cool sounds in between. The Trans-Red finish is stunning, looks amazing in person.
The B.A.T. pedals compliment one another very well, not much overlap at all. LSTR tone controls are a bit more intuitive in regards to dialing in awesomeness with a quickness whereas the Pharaoh took a bit of experimentation, for me and my gear, at least.
It's also incredibly quiet, a nice bonus. I prefer the Pharaoh, but for those that were unsatisfied due to it sounding "not very muff-like", the LSTR may satisfy those needs. Further, a LSTR into the Pharaoh sounds glorious, as does most anything stacked with the Pharaoh.
