What about that show last night?

This was on sunday but since I haven't had the patience to upload the photo:

Contemporary composition / improv trio from Cologne.
They're called Muche/Zoubek/Tang and play prepared piano, trombone and bass. They were really nice. Impressively disciplined for this kind of music. They managed to play without one being the leader almost the whole time. A lot of very quiet one note wobbly stuff where you had notes that were slightly bended (or otherwise modulated) for long periods and that made the overtones really stand out which sounded wicked. They also made some noisier stuff but I would have liked someone to take a leading part in that. This complete equalness in between them is what made me think the stuff was mostly composed by the way. Would've been extremely impressive if they improvised like that.

I should probably add: What about the last show you've been to?

I saw Warpaint last week, they were awesome

. Had to hang around for 5 hours after the gig to get a train home but it was worth it.

Live they were really hypnotic, everything sort of bled together in a really cool way, they got into some intense jams.
ps the group in the op seem cool, I listened to some of their stuff and it'd be interesting to watch it being played live.

Wow, that's really nice and original too. Do you know Electrelane? Sort of reminded me of them, partly because of being female and oddball part because of being hypnotic.
This is from a show I have actually missed.

They're coming through here in a couple of weeks. This might just be what makes me go see them.

Last band I saw... was... this is hard. Let's think. Therion. And it wasn't as good as five years ago. Too long and uneventful if it wasn't for Snowy Shaw. He's one of those unbelieveable guys who seem to kick ass what ever he does.

Last show was Maryland Deathfest. The only thing really worth mentioning is Neurosis. Who were un-fucking-believable, as well as the only reason myself and my friends drove three and a half hours to Baltimore.

Forgot to post about monday, where I played with my band Star Commander (which is an unimportant detail). We played with the band Innards, which is currently one of my favorite bands, and some of the best people I have ever met.

My friends The Two Knights covered this song of theirs that night, and it was one of the greatest moments I've been a part of in my entire life. Everyone in all the bands and all of our friends surrounded the Two Knights, and just screamed all the words in a loud, sweaty moment of catharsis.

This song feels heavy,

. I like it.

If you dig it, here's their bandcamp. Also, they're on tour, so you could maybe see them!
