Does this sound as good as I think it might? Does it thicken up the sound or is it not so noticeable. I'm going to get either a TBD or a Spectacular soon (oh yes, they will be mine) and I'm thinking this would be something cool I don't really have lying around that I'd like to try in there. Was sort of eyeing the EHX Octave Multiplexer or a Boss OC-2 so if anyone has used either of those in this fashion or really in any such way, I'd love to hear some thoughts.

The closest I have is a POG which gets pretty deep in a feedback loop. You would think it would just keep ropping your shit down until it hit the brown note, but it doesnt

Sometimes it will kill the osciltions too, its tricky. But when youa re using octave up.. oh bebe, watch out, and keep your hands on the sliders!

My octave up fuzz turns into an octave down pedal. It's a little glitchy-

I run the HOG in the TBD's loop for a while, but then I decided that ir's more fun to manipulate the pitch of the feedback and the wailing siren noises AFTER the TBD.... Just as special unique and strange, but different, and yeah, I admit it, more predictable.

A oc-2+smmwh on the on the FB loop bring me the sound of thunder!

My octave multiplexer is cool through my FB loop, especially when there's...FUZZ, yep FUZZ.

I once ran my old Danelectro French Toast in the EyeOfGod feedback loop-with other fuzz pedals as well (i forget which order they were in, but there was an AE, Hyperion and I think a Boss Metal Zone)-the Octave feature is a cool thing with feedback-tends to do more when combined with other fx.

when i was rocking a SP-AE mark 1, i ran my Sodameiser through the feedback loop and came up with some low-octave-space-trem sounds that a typed description could not describe. deep, dark and heavy. i think i was using the chaos mode and the volume knob on the SM seemed to control the rate of the quasi-tremolo effect. it sounded fuckin' crazy!
