pre-powdercoated hammond boxes in colors

this linkat mouser they are about $14 each. about the same as a chineese box painted by pedal parts plus. I would much rather do the powder coat than the paint if its gonna be the same price. powder coat is indestructible. and ebay has 4site 125B powder coat black for $64 a 10 pack shipped. thats $6.40 per unit.

Both PPP and Mammoth powder coat, not paint, and the boxes are only about $10. $4 more a box isn't insignificant.
Not that the Hammonds aren't awesome boxes, and I'm sure their finish is great. And the finishes I've gotten from both PPP and Mammoth haven't been perfect.

Those Hammonds come in such a painfully limited array of colors, and they all suck.

Any of them would be fine with the right graphics, IMO. If you were super picky about boxes, you could totally go that rout.
