NAD: Fuchs ODS (modded HD130)

So this popped up on the Daddy's website at the end of March. I put it a request to have it shipped to my local store from their warehouse to check out. They call me soon after and say, "oh, we're not sure it's a Fuchs, we may just sell it on eBay or not sell it at all," being real weird. I talked them into having it sent anyway...or so I thought. A month goes by, I hadn't heard anything, and had essentially figured they stiffed me. Whatever. Then I get a call Friday saying it's been there for weeks, they'd just forgotten to let me know.

So I popped down yesterday afternoon with my own cabinet, plugged in...holy shit. Absolutely amazing range of tones, clean to overdrive. Pretty much exactly what I need right now for my band, and it can get nice and dirty too. Totally in love. So many sounds, and I only played with it for 20 minutes before I had to go to work. They were still being weird about it maybe not being a Fuchs so I asked, well how much are we talking considering its unknown provenance? Just seeing if they would budge on the price.

Marked at $899, took it home for $727 out the door.

Just played for about an hour with my Guild Bluesbird (with Reeves Vintage Purples in the Avatar 2x12 pictured there)...just crushing OD tones, singing cleans, on neck and bridge pickups. Died and gone to heaven over here.
Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!
