Help! I can't figure out how to tweak Early Reflections

After three hours of just getting the PC editor to play nice with my newly arrived Magic Stomp Acoustic, I'm hitting a wall on tweaking the Early Reflections algorithm to sound anything like MBV and other shoegaze. Anyone got settings or tips to share?
