My little bro has the Double Cut, just played it recently, very cool guitar. It reminds me a lot of my Maton MS500, similar in shape and features. Framus has a cool semihollow that I tried out long ago, can't remember model though.
Edit: Remembered that Semihollow, pics below.

When I was a kid a friend of mine had an ancient semi-hollowbody Framus. One day, on a whim, we took it out into the middle of the street in front of his house and smashed it to splinters.

Yowsers. Hope it wasn't one of the nice ones.
Thomann.de has these listed at £600 for the single cuts, £660 for the double. Which, if they're made in Germany like the rest of the range, seems extremely good value. I'd really like to try one out before putting any money down though, as the bodies are hollow and there may or may not be a center block. It's certainly gonna sound different!

I have an old Framus 5/59 Sorella hollowbody with a chrome pickguard on which are mounted a Schaller pickup that looks just like the ones on these reissues, and volume, bass and treble controls--very unique arrangement. I think they referred to it as a "mixer."
Looks like this, except minez haz white knobbiez (and a much cooler tailpiece):
I love that pickup--very crisp, but not thin. Different than a P90 or Dynasonic--actually sounds a bit more like a Jazzmaster pickup. Love seeing it on these smaller-bodied guitars.

I should pull that pickguard off and see how they implemented that tone stack. Except, now I remember--the wiring is all encased in a metal shield box under the pickguard with no readily apparent way to detach it--hope those pots hold out....

Holy fuck Tim! They are NICE! I really, really like the first one. The DC would definitely be my first choice. They kind of remind me of the Maton MS500s too but with a Framus and Harmony twist. I dig the pickup aesthetics too. I'll keep an eye out to give one a go.

how similar, i wonder, are these to the little Hofner guitars which appeared in the Euro/UK market a few months back? they look similar in morphology, but the Hofners had the typical Hofner mini-hums.

These?

The Framus' are almost double the price which might warrant for some better quality. I have only tried one of the Höfners and I was not impressed at all. A dude I know has a Höfner Verythin which is a bitch and does not stay in tune for more than three minutes which makes me not go to his band's shows. I'd go Framus. But I always had a fascination for those guys cause I was born in the village they come from yet never played one. (I am not sure if it's not the same village that Höfners come from though.)

Found a couple pics of the Semihollow DC, another cool, vintage vibe Framus...maybe not these particular finishes, but styling is well done, imo.

Like i think i could even like that type of trans burst but it's just too busy with the other stuff.
Yea, think they come out of the custom shop only so it could look however you pleased. Bird inlays are no-go in every situation though, imo.
And I have no idea on cost, I'm sure it's too much, just tried one out awhile back and it played well and sounded even better. It was a plain top in tobacco burst, looked good!
