I'm aware of the project that Ian MacKaye did while on hiatus from Fugazi (The Evens) and I like it,...but I was hoping to be introduced to some other bands and musicians that feature Baris prominently.
I don't really care what style,...I just wanna hear that tone.

Thrice on the "Fire" disc from "The Alchemy Index", Deftone, Mew, Placebo annnnd yeah I don't know very many. Most of these bands just use them occasionally, not as an integral part of their sound, but you can still hear their usage of baris on some of their songs.

This is what I'm talking about.
I'm mainly looking for bands where their schtick is Baritones featured prominently.
Action,...do you know which Deftones songs have Bari on it,..or is it just some alternate drop tuning?

Never heard Eagle Twin, BADAASSSSSS.
But yeah, I know the Deftones' guitarist used an 8 string baritone on Diamond Eyes, I think most of their other stuff was alternate down tunings but I'd have to check it out.

Anthrax has used then on Sound of white noise, Stomp 442, and Vol8. Mctallica used one on Sad But True. That "Been a'while" band uses them. Then there is just the whole tuning down to bari range.. tons of bands do that, and then there is the 7 string thing... and before you say Korn... Morbid Angel did it first.

Amber Valentine from Jucifer rocks a JM Baritone and a wall of amps/cabs like nothing I've ever seen.

The guitarists from Bongripper use F# tuning (aka one step above an octave below regular tuning) if that counts.

I love this record,...I should probably just payload it instead of streaming it via bandcamp. Does the infamous Aen Open B tuning make it on this record?
