My First Build Thread (aka My Little Jazzmaster)

Alright, so I was eying and scoping and waiting to find a Jazzmaster suited to my tastes for a not so ridiculous price, when it was suggested to me, "Why don't you build one?"
So, here I am with a head full of dreams and a drawer full of JM hardware.
I initially set out to be wild and different, but, after gathering all the parts to my specs, I realized I'm basically making a custom Thurston Moore JM. Whatever.
So here it goes. End goal: Seafoam Green Jazzmaster, sans rhythm circuit and tone knob.
The parts arrive:
All the boring drilling done:
Set up for sealing:
After being sealed with clear:
P.S. Working in a customs and restoration shop has it's benefits, i.e. full access to a paint booth and ample supply of paint.

I shall follow this. also if the title is an mlp reference I respect you about 20 times more.

Super excited to see the outcome. I'm beginning a project on refinishing my Gibson from wine red to Goldtop, starts tomorrow actually. After that I plan on doing a JM so this is perfect to watch.

I used to own a TM Jazzmaster and that fucker was mighty bright without the tone control. I added a 500k tone pot that made a ton of difference as far as sonic versatility goes.
You should consider adding it, oh, and matching that headstock! Also excited to see the results, should be an excellent guitar.
