my band (the bohemian spaceship) are headin out for a midwest tour July 7th-July 14th.

we are wonderin if any ILFer's out there would be interested in joining us for some fuzzy shows? any loot made from these shows will be shared with all the ppl/bands.
doesn't matter if u aren't in a "band" or whatever. if u wanna come out and do your thing, that is totally cool. we are pretty open to anything and everything.

we will playin in these cities on these dates and we'd love to share the stage and rock with yall:

July 6 - Rochester, NY (wed)
July 7 - Cleveland (thurs)
July 8-9 - Detroit/Ann Arbor (fri/sat)
July 10-11 - Chicago (sun/mon)
July 13 - Indianapolis or Bloomington (wed)
July 14 - Ohio Mystery (thurs)
= 1 of the following: Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton

we are super excited to be sharing the stage w/ The Otto Modest (fellow ILFer), among others in St.Louis

Damn dude. Can you make ILFest in September in Milwaukee? I realize it is way outside your tour dates, but it would be awesome..

i just googled mapped milwaukee to rochester. its far (11.5 hrs), but this sounds awesome! i'm gunna bring it up to the bandmates and see what they think. i think if we play a few shows on our way out there and/or on the way back, it would be worth our while

Columbus sucks and I would avoid it like the plague. The city is cool but the music scene is awful. If you're looking for a good show, Dayton isn't a bad choice but the best would be Cincinnati. Unfortunately I don't have any contacts in Cincinnati but I could put you in touch with some people who can help you. BTW, really love your tunes.

we really wanted to play the bug jar, but they were booked on that day. when we get a venue lined up, i'll for sure let u know man! it may even end up being a house party or something, they are fun to play

Columbus isn't THAT bad. Just hit up the ravari room or something.

If you're going to play Columbus, the Ravari Room would probably be your best bet (afaik). That city is just so hit or miss with live music. We've played there a couple times and it's a crapshoot as to what kind of response you'll get.

If you're going to play Dayton, send some tunes to The Buddha Den. They might be able to help you with booking and they'll promote the show on that blog. That's the go-to spot to find out what's happening in Dayton so nearly everyone here checks it on a regular basis.

Or if you're more interested in making money, there's a bar by Wright State in Beavercreek called W.O. Wright's. It's a total college bar and a lot of douchebags hang out there but it's packed just about every night of the week so the money's always really good. The only thing is I'm not sure how easy it would be to get a show there.

I live in TX but I'll be touring the Midwest during that time! I'll ask my band about stuff.

funny thing, we talked to the guy at bug jar again the other night and the band who was originally booked that night backed out
soooo we are now playing at bug jar July 6th! should be a blast of a show
