i've never really been to TGP. my first and only gear forum is right here on ILF, but i can't help but hear stories of complaints about TGP. So basically, I figured I'd make a topic and see what we can compile about that place where it seems like all that matters is your Klon OD and Dumble

Very true, I've had many a thread fail over there...TGP and HCFX can be extremely lame on a very regular basis, both make me want to abandon online gear forums altogether at times. Klon and Dumble is the talk of the town over there, oh, don't forget Timmys and John Mayer. Thank god for ILF!

I don't know, I've learned some things at The Gear Page. This is probably the friendliest of the three forums to which I post.

Never used TGP or HCFX, luckily. I was on GuitarGeek back in the day, though. Hah. I'm old.

DUMBLZ TOANZ

I've had a few "infractions" over at TGP (yes, they have a special infraction system to wrist-slap troublemakers like me), and they've all been a result of taking trash either about a coveted, worshiped pedal or talking smack directly to a boutique god (Analogman, in one case).

Despite the groupie, me-too, keeping up with the Jones bullshit that is the foundation of that entire forum, I have a "supporting member" account just so I can sell shit and post "wanted" threads. That's THE place to go for boutique stuff for reverse engineering purposes. Where else can you have regular access to buy waitlisted boner-maker pedals without having to wait?

Oh, and thanks to TGP, you can all look forward to a Toneczar Halophaze schematic in the very near future.
