Ernie Ball Volume Pedal JR as an expression?

Hi guys!

I have a few effects that I need an expression pedal for. As you can imagine- the least amount of money for the best functioning product is the most desired outcome   I've been looking at the Toneczar site and they have one listed for $175! Yikes! that can apparently do expression but you can't use it as a volume pedal anymore. Is there a way to get it to do both? I can't imagine it'd be very different from one another but I'm not electronics savvy at all...

Anyway any advice would be rad!

p.s. pedals in question are a Boss PS-3, Goatkeeper GK3 and Moog.

It can be modded, not sure on details. Drasp offered to do mine for $20 or so, add a toggle to switch between volume/exp functions. Never got around to sending it out though.

Yeah, just look up how to wire an expression pedal. I'd remove the tuner-out jack if you don't need it, and install a toggle there. The pot value from a volume jr is going to be wrong -- you'll need to wire in another resistor to change the value, depending on what pot value the expression pedal is supposed to have. The switch will either connect or disconnect this resistor. The only other issue I can think of running into is that the vol jr has an audio taper pot and an expression pedal may need a linear pot.

The Moog EP2 expression pedal is only $40 new. Had one for my Ring Thing and it's built very well.

*That doesn't help with trying to use two for one, but for the price, just have two things. I have a Mission pedal for my Line 6 M9 http://www.mission-engineering.com/Miss ... ering.html. Some options to peruse.

Those looks great. Will have to consider if I ever need another volume pedal or an expression pedal.
