Boss - RC-30 - Dual Track Looper

I received the RC-30 two days ago and already come along with it very good.
At first i was confused about the factory looping preset (record>overdub>play) but after checking the manual i changed it to old school (record>play>overdub)
Sad but true there is no reverse looping!!! I checked the pedal and the manual forth and back but cant find a reverse function *grrrrr*
Whatever there are 5 new effects available (loop only NOT the dry signal):
- octave down pitch, very cool for the tape speed down effect but you cant record something on it and then have it in double time when you go back to normal as found on the DL-4
- step phaser, is cool for simple chords
- sweep filter, sounds a bit extreme but its cool for creepy stuff
- delay, sounds like being set to double time and comes pretty cool...
- lo fi, is a downer, since being used to the lo fi loop junky (see shootout video) the boss is just adding noise and some sort of filter
Its very cool to have 2 tracks in a compact sized pedal but another downer is that you cant put an effect on track 1 only, its always doing the effect on both tracks...
Compared to the RC-20XL the audio quality has improved to my ears, cause the rc-20 was starting to sound blurry with high gain sounds, the rc-30 can handle this alot better + its in stereo...
Here are the clips
