I hear that zcat pedals are finicky about where they like to be in the chain. They prefer the begining. That's where I prefer my octave stuff so it wouldn't bother me too much but I can see how that could be a problem.

Also the zcats have about half the sampling rate as the pogs so they might not track chords as well.

I'm not particularly fussed about chords so I guess that's OK, they look like a decent buy for an effect I'm not going to use enough to warrant something with loads of frills. The added reverb sounds a lot like the 'Octaverb' from the Verbzilla, which is pretty cool!

There's the MI Audio Polyanna, although I don't know the price on it off the top of my head.

Seriously, I went looking for a Hammond 125B-sized octave up + octave down pedal (no fuzz) and couldn't find anything other than the ZCat, which is decent but dunno where I'll find one since I'm not in the EU.

And I'm sure the good Doctor can make something 100x as RAD and much more KILLER TOANZ than the ZCat pedal and the EHX MicroPOG.

I'd have to check to be sure, but I believe this is due to them having high input impedance

What about the Boss PS-3/5/6 Shifters? I haven't personally used them, and I'm pretty sure they can't handle chords at all.

they can barely handle notes, definitely not chords. but that's why i love them! the micropog is the only pedal that perfectly tracks everything.
