Because my pedalboard keeps losing power in the middle of my sets muliple times for no apparent reason. I figure either this new onespots plug is slightly skinnier than theold one (the head is designed differently than my old one) or my tuners dc in is just beat and worn. I can't hve his st keep happenig every night I have over 50 shows left on this tour. Help!

Yeah, pull the tuner first for a show. If it still cuts out, it's the OneSpot. If it doesn't, run the tuner with a battery the rest of the time.

Are your pedals just on the edge of the one spot's capabilities? At 1A (1000mA) the One Spot will switch off to protect itself. Newer ones I think are 1500mA.
If that's not it, you can test your tuner with a multimeter. Just see that the two DC jacks are connected. You'll need some kind of plugs to do this (like two separate daisy chains). Or you can just plug the one-spot into the tuner, then measure the voltage coming out of the other plug. Wiggle it around to see if the voltage drops off.
Alternatively get a new power supply (the newer Godlyke Power All looks nicer than the one spot-- gonna pick one up soonish) and tuner (GFS makes a super cheap one) and call it a day.

one other thing - are you using a daisy chain on the 1spot?
if so, check to make sure the unused (if any) jacks aren't touching any of your pedals as that can short the power and make you intermittently lose your juice.
if you have unused jacks, i can almost guarantee this is your problem. cover the ends of the jacks in some gaffer's tape, which you can easily get from any soundperson.

Well, I do not have any unused jacks, and I don't think its the onespot turning itself off, as I never have more than 4 pedals on at a time, the most current would be when my super hard on, cosmichorus and carbon copy and red snapper are on. I'm pretty sure that still takes less than 500mA. It also doesn't always do it, and usually it happens randomly when im not even stomping pedals. It always can be fixed by my tapping the back of the pedal.. so tonight i'll try plugging the onespot into the daisy chain. Thanks for the suggestion!
