You get a new pedal (or other piece of gear) that you're really excited about and then you take it to band practice and it sounds amazing with your band. It makes me so happy. I find that all too often some pedals sound awesome in your room and then you take them to band practice and it just doesn't work out.

Last night I used my El Capistan with my drummer for the second time and it was so :omg: It had us gazing pretty hard..

It just makes me so happy when that happens! That's pretty much how I know I'm gonna keep a pedal for sure. What are your pedals that you love to use most with your band? Experiences, etc?

My Barbershop fits into our bands sound like magic. Grinding, gritty goodness that adds something wonderful to our sound. That boosting my Russian Muff into a chorus is sexy to the max.

my problem is that I have a Spector. which SOUNDS awesome in every context, but fat chance getting a gig in anything that isn't funk or metal.
