I had a Crimson Drive and let go of it . I was going to try to score another one and just missed it on TGP. Really liked what the Crimson did though. What would be the next in line to do what the Crimson did , the Dream Crusher or Dirt Transmitter?
thanks

My vote is dream crusher, and not just bc i have one for sale. I dont think either pedalwill nail it, but the dream crusher, to me, can sound less like a fuzz and more like an od than the dirt transmitter can.

I recently got a question about the overdrive capabilities of the Dream Crusher, and then I saw this thread, so I made a little clip. Here is a listening guide:

G&L Legacy Tribute (strat) > Earthquaker Devices Dream Crusher > Tweed B-Man Model in Pod Farm 2.

Dream Crusher is set on the lowest gain setting the whole time. Order of sounds is

1. Bridge pickup clean
2. Bridge pickup, guitar volume @10
3. Bridge pickup, guitar volume @ 8
4. Neck pickup clean
5. Neck pickup, guitar volume @10
6. Neck pickup, guitar volume @ 8
