If only it wasn't a short scale.

I want that, I love short scale basses, work better for my small, useless guitar playing hands. And kbithecrowing, assuming you weren't joking, there already is a full-scale version.

I'd assume the same as the full-scale version, so $299.

okay, the short scale one has a really fucking ugly/awkward pickguard shape but the rest of them don't. i don't understannnnnnd.
but this is sexy. those block inlays

wish it came in white though. not a fan of black finishes.

Finally some new short scales!
I've been searching for a short scale bass (mainly Mustang) and just barely lost an auction on a glitter finished one last week. That was like the coolest bass ever. One of these is a tempting option. Hard choice on the colour though. I've heard lots of good things about the Vintage modified series too except for the pu's in some cases.

I also don't understand the pickguard, which makes me only like the black one, since you can't see it, although I usually prefer the other colors.
BTW, this is priced at . . .
$169!http://www.elderly.com/fmic/items/SVMJBSS.htm

Good lawd. I might have to scrap the EB-0 idea and pick one of these up if I'm GASing for a shortscale again.
But...I really don't need any more basses right now.
