Going to see Maritime next week (I don't understand calendar

Edit: Fixed the title because apparently I don't understand how calendars work. We're going next Saturday.

My girlfriend and I don't go to see many shows anymore. (We work way too much.) So this is a nice treat.

Last summer we saw Maritime play on a boat that was floating down the river. At one point, we went out past the breakers into Lake Michigan and the band nearly got thrown off due to the rocking. Best recovery ever: a friend held their Korg synth and the rhythm guitarist continued to play the synth riff on it until they all got up and continued the song.

They're not really known for using fuzz. But they do like Teles.
