Sold my Lava Pearl StingRay to fund the fretless Warmoth PJazz

Gold tuners won't fit, sell and buying Schallers, FML.

Waiting on gold control plate, cream pickup covers, and the courage to solder...

All in all...

What pickups are going in this jammer, if you don't mind me asking?

I dig the color but fretless scares me :thumb:
2nding the pickups question. Also, don't be afraid to solder, 'taint nothin' but three pots and a cap. Assuming you're not doing anything weird. You can do it!

Wenge neck? color is cool but cries out for a matching headstock.

Why wouldn't the original tuners work? Too tall?

Either way, it looks very cool.

How much was that neck if you don't mind? I've played with the idea of getting them to make me a cool neck for my p-bass, but don't know if I should slap a $300 neck on a squire affinity body(with upgraded everything else).

Pickups are Nordstrand NPJ4 set. This is my first totally passive single coil (bridge) I'm excited and nervous.

The neck was $340.. $235 in the showcase + fretless conversion.

The neck wood is Goncalo Alves, and fingerboard is Pau Ferro... all raw, no finish.

I actually like the wood look over the matching headstock. Used to have one on my MusicMan, so I'm "over it."

Tuners are 18 mm and I need 17.46 mm holes, barely misses it. Just sold 'em on TalkBass, buying Gotoh's to match bridge.

Thanks for the kind words!!

I'll post audio when I have it up and roaring.
