schools killing me!
eh....
not too much anymore, ive come to terms with the fact that im not gonna pass my composition class.
it wasnt the smartest thing ive ever done, signing up for it.....
yes i was depressed for a bit but now i realize it leaves me time to get back to building, customizing, destroying and hating guitars and music in general! :D

i thought id share with you guys my latest build, i think this is the forum section it goes under
ill update this as new developments arise, but because i have no money itll be a slow and hopefully steady process.

here it is at its current stage

the plan is to stick 4 pickups in it!
a duncan SH-2/4 set
a low end duncan preformer, bridge model
and a mini-bucker, a firebird-like thing; neck model

at the moment i have the duncans, all 3 of em.
but that last ones being real annoying.
im putting all my eggs in the basket that is ebay.

as for the wiring
the neck models will have dedicated tone knobs
the bridge modles will share a tone
they'll each have a volume knob of their own
and killswitches all around!

ive never put a killswitch on anything, so if you have experience with this please help me :)

the paint job is gonna be acrylic/oil paints straight to the body then coated.
probably with polyurethane.
think of like.....an abstract mango....
yeah i suppose thats the way to describe it....
those colors in an impressionist manner
yeah, thats as well as i can describe the image ive got floating in my mind
at the moment

the neck i have....somewhere.

thats all for now.

oh yeah, i recorded this like a day or two ago.
for all my homies on all the forums who've never seen me play

I'm thinking mango-smudge-burst :thumb:
Probably getting patented at gibson as we speak, along with various lipstick names + burst, hehe.
The pickup setup sounds very smart, can't wait to hear it. (I'm taking it as a given that we will).

this particular one, the mango burst (lol)
will have a gigantic vintage pickup.

looking cool so far..and that pickup kinda looks like something you'd see in one of those weird Japanese guitars from the 60s (like a Teisco or something)
Or maybe an electric lap-steel guitar?
