Can I get the same sounds of the Dirty Chan from a Hi Five?

No. The party Hi fives are... more transparent... They don't have as much of a "sound" as the DC, the DC adds a little thickness.

Yeah, the circuit of the party favor hi five is actually two hi five circuits in one. I still find it weird that mudfuzz finds it to be more open than the dirty chan, but where I haven't used it he's probably right, it just surprises me.

If you can find a high five plus you might be able to have those tones in a more flexible package. It's one circuit with a gain knob, my favorite thing to do is strum bar chords through it as hard as I can. Gives this really hard clipping while sounding kindof...AMAZING! In the same way vanilla oreos are infinitely more awesome than regular oreos. I'm bad at describing sound.

I bought it for the same reason nieh is asking... I wanted a Chan I could use on my board... What I got was a mostly/very uncolored dirt boost... which I use all the time

As for the Dirty Chan...will it tighten up my sound? (like people use 808OD's for in metal...the extra kick in the ass plus tightness)
