I just hit that Behringer Vintage Time Machine Analog Delay for 20 Euro at ebay and i have to say its pretty damn awesome for this price. It doesent have the magic DMM Chip and its also clipping like hell with my humbuckers and downtuning but its working more than fine with single coils!!

Awesome! Simply because I had a Target gift card, I picked up the Behringer Vintage Distortion a couple months back for $30. It leaves much to be desired. Kind of like a dog farting through a bag of wet leaves.

thank you for sharing this info, i though about the distortion as well since the Delay is pretty cool and now i can save my time and look into something else!!!

yeah but be sure you dont use too hot pickups, humbuckers didnt worked with the VTM for me...

Yes it does... no High Voltage BBD Chips, No Need for More Voltage.

I was thinking of grabbing one of these, for the price they're a bargain, designs a little different from your standard DMM but close enough... be easy to mod these to sort out any bypass issues compared to there BOSS Sized clones aswell with all the extra room in the case.

There's mods somewhere to make it go crazy, oscillate and be louder. Although it is supposed to be like a Big Muff, for some reason I remember reading that it isn't like a Big Muff circuit inside. There's guides to mod it somewhere out on the internets.. This thread on Offset mentioned putting a clean boost in front of it to get better tone, might want to try that.

I picked up an Artec Analog Delay on eBay a long time back for about $40, which also makes it a really cheap sleeper delay pedal.

I had a VTM for awhile and I thought it was really good. I'm fine with alot of the Behringer stuff. The VTM had a pretty cool drive when turning the level up and everything else down, a nice crunch. I took to using it in the fx loop of my QTron+ with sexy results.

Definitely not bad sounding at all, especially for the price! That softer melodic bit you did in the beginning sounded great, not what I'm used to hearing from your demos.
