I'm looking to get a cheap multi-fx processor for processing samples.

New, used, either is ok. The cheaper the better.

Digitech Vocal 300 looks interesting as does the mini-kp. What else can you recommend?

Animal Collective appears to be using the VX400's in their rigs.

The Behringer V-Amp looks to have quite a bit of bang for the buck, especially used. I'm betting they've basically ripped off the Line 6 pod, but it is hard to feel sorry for Line 6.

I've had a bash on one of those, if you can get it cheap it would be worth a punt, it's definitely portable thats for sure

It is looking like they can be had for less $70 shipped on e-bay for a used one.

I like Yamaha DG-Stomp.
I use it for late at night playing (with headphones).

Korg made great multi effects in the Toneworks line. Find one used and cheap on eBay. I had the tiny one, the amp models were great, the digital effects were so-so.

There were bigger floor models too:

Don't know if these actually prove to be cheaper than a Behringer, but I thought I'd mention them.

You've got effects on the Roland... I'd go for a cheap Kaoss Pad2...
