since you have both, i'd be really curious to know how similar they sound to each other. i keep hearing mixed things about whether or not the snowdrift actually has the original fingerprint circuit in it or not. is the left side of the snowdrift a straight up fingerprint? i need to just open mine up and compare it to an FP schematic.

Who cares???!?!
They BOTH sound awesome!
Okay that was rude, haha,**
They are identical circuits with the added use of the white channel. In fact the last of the Fingerprints had DUAL footswitches (I think those are even MORE hard to come by??) so it isn't too far off from where Penny Pedals left off. FYI- I'm pretty sure the Fuzzhugger Snowflake kit
IS a copy of a Fingerprint to the best of my knowledge from web posts and such.
The schematics side of things don't phase me too much- side by side, when the controls are set alike, they sound VERY VERY similar. In all respects it is an accurate representation but you'll NEVER utilize it that way as you'll find yourself winding the white-noise/whatever knob (far right) at least 9-o'clock and if you're going to use the footswitch- more likely around 10-3 o'clock even... in which case, when disengaged, the sound is STILL affected (or so I believe).
It's hard when you live on the other side of the globe to get all the low down on what's what but I'd like to get my dirty little mittens on a Penny Pedals Lofi Fuzz and ANY Penny Pedals gear I can find!!! I used to look at their site RELIGIOUSLY 3-4 years ago but never had a job/was always out partying and even $180 was too much (it was like $320 + $50 delivery back then for me as we were 55-60c to the dollar, now we're $1-$1.05

) but yeah I'm back with a vengeance.... and still no job

I want to stop using the smilies but they're my favourite on any forum I visit so I apologise in advance

** what I meant by that is that I don't think Ryan or Julie would imply it's a FP design if it isn't, ya know?
