I'm saving for a second guitar... maybe this summer (I hope).

What is your though on the 2010 Gibson Firebird.
Does mini-humbucker work great with fuzz box?
My PRS CE22 is very versatyle, but sometimes the humbucker have too much output for some fuzz box.

Is the electronic on the 2010 good?
"The guitar carries a pair of Firebird mini-humbucking pickups, model 495R and 495T, which are updated with ceramic magnets for added punch and clarity, to retain all the enhanced high-end character for which the original Firebird was designed, but with added muscle for 21st century players. They are routed through the traditional three-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls."
I also notice they change the tuner for Steinberger gearless tuner.

The 1964 Firebird III reisue would be my favorite... but too expensive.
http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electri ... d-III.aspxSo I'lll look for a Firebird V 2010 or a used one.

I'd rather have alnico magnets but that's just me. You could swap the magnets out pretty easily.
You can also swap mini humbuckers with p90s.

If I don't like the stock pickup, maybe those could be a good addition:

That's one of the ugliest guitar I ever seen... and it is tuning by itself (what's that for).
