i'm probably going to build this in the near future.



but i don't really know how to like, interpret schematics and layouts. i can read them, but that's a far cry from actually understanding. i've read that the volume pot in this should be logarithmic instead of linear, but i reallllly dunno... any foreseeable issues with this layout?

Yes it will work (That's Renegadrians layout, I think he verified it...) The volume pot should be 5k Linear as stated there, normally Volume Pots are Logarithmic you are correct but not in the case of the fuzz factory.

I'd say for a first build though... that's an awful lot of offboard wiring and a relatively tight layout, this might be a little easier to build -

I also have one I drew that uses onboard PCB mount pots if that's your thang, saves on all those wires laying around.

it wouldn't really be my first build, although i suck at wiring. a lot. given that, the layout you posted looks a lot easier. thanks! probably gonna start sourcing stuff tonight.
