Toggling between multiple non-adjacent components

How do you do this? Say you need one switch that swaps several components for alternates, but these aren't adjacent in the circuit. Like say you wanted to swap 3 resistors or caps for different values.
Component 1 *Circuit Stuff* Component 2 *Circuit Stuff* Component 3
^ So none of the individual components are directly touching as I have poorly illustrated ^

If I understand you correctly... you'd use a 3PDT and Treat Each Section of it seperatley so you'd have 3 x SPDT.
Then it's just a case of wiring it up like normal -

If I get what you're saying, using resistors as an example it would be wired like this? (Colored circles denote location on board)

Looks about right to me.

And they even have 4pdt switches at Smallbearelec.com if you need to toggle 4 components simultaneously!

Yeap! I've got a couple laying around for a project I keep putting off
