I"ve heard about this guy...isn't he most known for making lots of weird/experimental instruments for Sonic Youth? (the Moodswinger-type ones, I mean..)

Well, he seems to have built for Liars, Lee Ranaldo, The Veils, Enon, Lightning Bolt...

I know him a little, spoke with him a few times, did a workshop and it is very interesting, will definitely do another workshop, because I want more of those things

Nice! He's on Facebook, and is really approachable. We struck up a conversation, I found out he was coming to NYC in the fall (ATTN: KOSTA, STANIMAL, STEEVDEADMAN & ALL OTHER CRAZY NYC ILFERS!!). I mentioned that it was too bad he wasn't hitting Providence, he said he'd like to, so I gave him some info on who he should contact, and he said that he would definitely try to set something up here.

And then I did a little dance. Like this:
