first build-byoc

i'm planning on buying the byoc octave fuzz. it's going to be my first build. i know how to solder, so that isn't an issue. have any of you built this one? how difficult is it to put together?

those kits are like paint by numbers so you should be fine

I built it. It's pretty easy as those kits go.

Yeah my very first build was the BYOC Rat, and it was a piece of cake. Even worked first time I hooked it up. You should be totally fine with the Octave Fuzz. It has a much smaller parts count than the Mouse.

If you have any fuzz (dur), run the octave fuzz into it. Destruction!

right on. thanks for the input. i was going to buy a confidence booster as well, but it seems like a waste of money and from these responses, i'll just go with the octave fuzz.

Build the CB into the Octave and melt worlds with that isht.
