Hey Everybody! I got a Devi Ever Dark Boost a while back, and I'm using it with a passive Jazz Bass and and Orange Terror Bass 500 through 2 4x10s. Right now I have it after my fuzz pedals and before an Xotic RC Booster (which is at the end of my chain). I don't think I'm quite getting the most out of it. I figured I would ask any bass players here who have a Dark Boost how they use it, and where they put it in their chain. I know it's really up to each individual's personal taste, but I'm really curious how other bassists are using it. I don't set the control up very high, I'm just trying to get a slightly overdriven sound out of it, which I don't think I've found yet. Any thoughts?

I've always liked mine first, on guitar and on bass. I like the control either around 9 o clock or full on, volume to taste (usually a slight boost). I feel like it just hits the fuzz a little harder that way and gets more character out of it that way. Maybe try it out front, keep the control somewhere before noon and really push the volume and see what you can get.
