They're one of my favorite acts of recent years, although I completely realize they're full of pastiche and affectation.
Thing is, I love that.

Honestly, I don't really get the whole fashion/originality/etc. arguments when it comes to pop music. I mean, you're looking in the wrong direction for that bullshit.

Oh, and I like Robert, but definitely not there. Oddly, I had this same discussion 2 days ago on facebook.

they were really shy and slightly odd but nice haha

New album has more... atmospheric tracks I guess you could say. They aren't ambient or anything, but the majority have more girth I guess...

The first post has a bunch of songs off the new album that will give you a better idea of what I'm trying to convey.
