It's become a staple of our live set. Our bassist sings lead on this song but the sound guy had him a little too low, that's why the melody is a bit different because Jenna is singing harmony.

I thoroughly love Yo La Tengo. Fact: YLT made up about 85% of the official music of my wedding. In fact, Sugarcube was our recessional music. That was badass. "Whole Of The Law" was one of our first dances.

I totally dig your version! Though I have to admit, I'm biased. Anyone who covers YLT gets massive points in my book.

YLT is one of my favorite bands ever. A friend of mine sent me a couple of texts and he's apparently hanging out with them in Seattle right now.

The awesomest part (for me) was right after the huge squeals of feedback and crashing drum intro, my wife gave a uninhibitedly triumphant fist pump. I already knew I'd found "the one," but that sure as hell was one of those perfectly illustrative moments.
