For the first time in a long time, Queens is set to tour, well a mini-tour really. They'll be playing their debut album and then some. If you haven't seen them, you should! They're playing the huge cities but hitting some smaller, random US spots. Lucky for me, St. Louis is one of them and it's a smaller venue which rules. We generally get passed over by anything cool and I'm stuck driving to Chicago or KC. Dates are here:

Damn, Asheville is a good 3 hours from me. I love the first record. I worked at a record store in Jersey when it came out on a Tuesday, heard it the first time while on ecstacy on Wednesday (so awesome) and then they played at the 99 capacity Saint in Asbury Park that Friday (Josh, Nick, Alfredo, Dave Catching). My friend's band at the time (They were called Soul Preacher lol) opened the show, a band that I joined for the following show when the singer quit. Damn I wish he quit sooner. Ah memories.
