Go to Competition Music in Ft. Worth. It's off Lancaster. Totally rules.

I've seen ridiculous gushing about the Fender Mustang I modeling amp at forums, and they're about a Benjamin. I haven't tried one, but I'd think modeler for someone starting out or just wanting a fun around-the-house amp.

Yea man, I'm in DFW and we've got really nothing. It's hard to imagine in such a large city... But GC has overrun all the good shops in the last 10 years.
CL is the way to go.

COMPETITION MUSIC YOU MOTHERFUCKERS
I bought a vintage Traynor PA head and the two column 4x12 cabs in excellent condition from there. Best guitar amp I've ever bought. Cost? $200.
Also, DFW ain't a city, Holmes. It's a metropolitan area.

I thought the Vox was kind of meh. I liked it with my strat, but was unimpressed with humbucker guitars. I liked the Fender Mustang. It sounds really good for a modeler, much better than the peavey or line6. For a hundo its a really interest little amp.
