That sucks!!!! My gear is in a finished basement room directly under kitchen sink and dishwasher upstairs. I'm always paranoid something will spring a leak leading to destruction.

It's safe, I guess it just got on the Toltex. No water damage. I took the back off to make sure.
Then, I fired it up. Still works and sounds great. Thank god.
Onto good news: Traded my Marshall 8412 for a Sunn 2x12. I should have it next Thursday!

Thank god indeed, water damage is a serious drag! Sunn 2x12s are very cool, my brother has an open back Sunn paired up with a closed back Emperor 2x12 and his setup sounds amazing. You'll have to post some pics.

Yeah, it would be a vertical 2x12 with an open back.
Figured it would sound better than my closed back MDF Constructed 4x12 with 4 Celestion G12L-35's for Post-Rock

Ugh. I hate that you have one. I haven't seen this cab yet. I basically traded my 4x12 to my friend who had giftcards to the store that has the Sunn. So, I have to drive in early tomorrow morning and buy it.

glued up a few tears (minimal) in the speakers when i got it last year. still has the sunn transducers.
it freaking rips. either a bass through it or a guitar roaring with fuzz and all the octave shit of a pog it still is loud and clear as fuck..i'd call it love

Then I can't wait for tomorrow.
BUT, my Bassist refused to pay for the rent of our Practice Space. I have $200 until I get paid Friday. Rent is $90. I have to pay all $90 out of pocket.
