Deerhunter - Helicopter. What effects is he using?

I'm talking about the beginning riff that comes in at around 0:04. From live videos, he seems to be plugging an acoustic guitar into his pedal board, but there's gotta be something else.. I think he uses the Behringer reverb machine for the shimmer effect that comes in eventually, but I can't quite get that tone.

Sounds like pitch and reverb and something... That's probably acoustic in to HOG...
