I'm doing an EXHAUSTIVE ten question interview with Boris. Yes, THE BORIS.
SO what do you want to know?

Oh jeez. Thousands of questions come to mind... well shit. Here's a few related ones loaded into a chunk of questions.

-Boris's extensive set-up of amps, effects, and guitars has become almost an icon of the band. How did they come into possession of this gear in the early days of the band? How did they transport it from gig-to-gig before they had roadies? Do they still actively look for new sounds (not genres or styles) to incorporate into their music?


-Have there ever been completed and or recorded works that they have chosen not to release, if so what are some of them? If not, were there any that they were planning to begin, but never came to be?



Chances are I'll have a few more coming. Boris have been one of my favorite bands for the better part of the last 6 years.

Do they write songs with the unique fuzzness or is that something they add after words. I've heard some really unique sounds and was never sure if they found the sound and then wrote a part or wrote the part and then found the sound....or if the part makes them want the sound...

What kind of stuff are the members into when they aren't Borising it up? I know Atsuo is into giant robots...how about Takeshi and Wata?
