Fucking classic

Georgie Fruit rocked my soul

I've never seen so much DFA1979 love in one place and I loves it

I had a tough time deciding between this and Led Zeppelin IV
Notable mention go to Stand! by Sly and the Family Stone(my avatar), Maggot Brain by Funkadelic, Funeral by Arcade Fire, and Wet From Birth by The Faint

I could already change my list and it would be completely different. +Swans +Old Man Gloom +Acid Bath etc.
Thanks for the reminder to finally check out Oxbow, I caught them live some years ago and was pretty god damn impressed.

I just went with what I can [and have] listen to over and over and over without ever getting sick of

It's funny because some albums I'll think OMG AMAZING for a few years, but then it'll fade quite a bit. Frances The Mute did that to me, for the first 6 months I was absolutely addicted like I had just discovered THE CURE FOR ALL PAIN but I've listened to it maybe once in the past 2 years.
I think I went through my collection a few years ago picking out the only TRUE MASTERPIECE works, and I came up with maybe 40 albums? Even that skipped quite a few "could be in a few year" ones.
Or like, you know, whatever.
