I need to find replacement chassis bolts and new rubber feet for my orange amp
Image
the four on the left is what I have, the one on the right is a good one from another amp.
(to show how the 4 bad ones are bent out of shape)

I'd also need 4 plastic feet since i'm short one, and the other three are smooshed to poo.

ordering through dealer has been futile.
can't find the bolt in a local hardware store either
1/4" 28thread 2" long

HELP ME.

i've been looking.
hardware stores are now all big box stores and if they don't have it in stock, it doesn't exist to them.

where do you order 4 bolts online? :idk:

Ikea just doesn't seem like the best place when looking for this kind of stuff :idk:

they don't sell those things in music stores? i know the one i work in (onec a week) has all kinds of crews and shit... why wouldn't hey have a few rubber feet?

call the rep in your area or email. they may refer you to a local dealer. I was a dealer once but I got the phone number right off the website. its public information and they pick up the cell phone for real.

i've searched high and wide.
local dealer has left me hanging high and dry (Steves Music keeps up their reputation for being garbage  )
and trying to speak with the canadian distributor (which is located 15mins from my house) just sends me back to the store that can't process on order for shit.

i've tried the orange forum as well....

seems ridiculous for four functional screws and plastic feet.

I've had to buy chassis bolts before, and other specialty bolts. There is a store here and that is pretty much all they sale. I just take in my bolts, they take a look, and come back with I need, and charge me some change. They are use to people buying in bulk, so half the time they just give them to me.

Maybe look for something similar, in your area?

Check here for the Machine Screws:
http://www.smallparts.com/s?keywords=&page=1&size=20&searchNodeID=16403521&ref_=sp_s_node_16403521&x=0&y=0
Just input your specs(if you're not sure on some of the specs, just fill in the size and it will give you your options) in the search on the left of the page and you should be able to find just what you need.
You'll probably have to buy more than 4 but it should still be under $10.

As for the feet check here:
http://www.fliptops.net/catalog/index.php?cPath=29_50
You should be able to find something you can use.

Hope this helps.

HOT DAMN!
they arrived today and they don't fit. HA.

went to the local hardware store and the 1/4" 28 thread bolt doesn't even fit in the 1/4" 28thread bolts that they have at the store...
ugh.

I guess they're metric?
M6 thread
50mm

nothing but hex or plastic bolts on smallparts.... :(
